Client Comments

We have purchased 3 oil paintings form David for our private collection. We are most impressed with the strength of his portraits, together with the immaculate way in which he captures the underlying muscle and bone structure.
Mr & Mrs Sturdy

David Seymour has tackled a subject from an angle which is rarely conveyed to the public eye. His interpretation of Ballet Dancers portrays both the grace, and power evident in the Dancer's finely formed muscle structure. Artists usually convey either of these two attributes in their Artwork, but rarely a combination of the two.

The skills of this Artist in conveying the Architectural beauty of the buildings of Georgian Bath is something envied by many Architects.

We were so pleased with his Portrait of our son that we commissioned individual Portraits of the entire family.
Angela Jameson. Bath

In your portrait of him, you've captured an expression in our son's face which only his immediate family have seen. We're delighted with it, and it hangs in pride of place in our lounge.
Jane Campion. Bath

We're happy to have commissioned a portrait of Jane Austen which now hangs in the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. It is an Artistic impression of her by David Seymour. There was only one sketch of Jane Austen ever attempted in her lifetime, and that was by her sister Cassandra.
